THE PROBLEM
The combination of extreme poverty, widespread english proficiency and internet access has made the Philippines an epicenter for sex trafficking and online sexual exploitation.
Victims: 4,471,416 Filipino children were trafficked to produce new sexual exploitation material in 2022. Thatās 1 in every 100 Filipino children - and the numbers are growing daily.
Traffickers: Nearly a quarter of a million adult Filipinos trafficked children to produce new child sexual exploitation material in 2022.*

Our Work
Sanghaya fights against the sexual exploitation of Filipino
women and children through highly effective PREVENTION,
RESTORATION and REINTEGRATION programs.
Prevention
By educating communities through our Awareness Campaigns, providing small business loans through our Microfinance and ensuring children stay in school through our Educational Assistance Program, we are able to empower & protect vulnerable women and children from the threat of exploitation.
Restoration
Sanghaya's rescue home is a safe haven for women & children rescued from sex slavery and online sexual exploitation. Survivors receive holistic support including education, counseling and medical care.
Reintegration
Teaching survivors and at-risk women sewing skills for therapy and income generation through our Social Enterprise - Sanghaya Sewing and providing employment.
